Project Impact

  • Trained 192 young women (ages 15-22) in two high schools in the region of Fatick with education in gender equality, sexual transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS and the risks of early marriage and young pregnancy

Treated over 6,000 critically ill individuals suffering from HIV/AIDS; trained health care workers with home care skills; provided health education to over 20,000 people; built a school; and provided land and food sources for vulnerable families.


John has improved the lives of over 17,000 marginalized people by training them in using simple and ecological agriculture techniques to provide secure food security and household income.
